  • Free Admission for Veterans and Active Military

In celebration of Veteran’s Day and the men and women whom have served and continue to serve our country, the Nottingham Festival is pleased to offer free admission to veterans and active duty military personnel and their families this Saturday, November the 12th!

While Veteran’s Day falls on Friday this year, we will be opening our gates to both veterans and active duty military this Saturday. Each veteran or active duty person may bring in up to three guests with them for free! All you need to do is show your veterans’ ID card or active military ID at the box office, where you and up to three guests will be given free tickets to enjoy the Nottingham Festival as our guests.

The Nottingham Festival takes place at Civic Center Park, 3855 Alamo St. in Simi Valley, directly across the parking lot from the DMV and the Simi Valley Veteran’s memorial.

We hope to see many of our brave men and women and their loved ones join us this Saturday!

We are in need of some volunteers with scenic painting skills to help create background flats for our five stages. We have a couple of awesome volunteers already, but there are 42 – 4’x8′ flats that need painting! The idea is to paint generic images or textures that will crossover to both time periods Victorian West and 16th Century Elizabethan England – rustic wood, flagstone, etc. Materials (paint, brushes) and visual images will be provided, but we love the collaborative process so if you have any ideas to bring in we’ll be ecstatic. Most of the flats will ultimately be 10′ tall, so there is an additional 2’x8′ cut piece that will be attached horizontally to top two-each of the 4×8 lauan panels that will be put together to create 8’x8′ flats.
